Mirza and Butler established no.w.here as an extension of their studio practice in 1999. Since then it has taken on various manifestations including screenings, events, critical discussions, films, residencies, printed matter, touring programmes, workshops and (since 2004) a film lab. Recent curated exhibitions include Instructions for Films at the Zoo Art Fair, Cinema of Prayoga at the Tate Modern and Light Reading which is now in its tenth series (year).
